At Escuela Bella Vista, we believe every student has the capacity to learn, develop, and grow. We are committed to creating pathways to success and providing meaningful opportunities for students to overcome barriers to learning.

Through our dedicated programs, we offer a range of support and skill-building opportunities tailored to meet diverse student needs. From universal interventions, such as SEL/PSHE classes, to more intensive supports, including Life Centered Education classes, we work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and other stakeholders to help every student reach their full potential.

Our robust Student Support Services Team brings expertise, compassion, and a deep commitment to student development and well-being. Together, we strive to ensure that every student has the support, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive.

Ms. Ansophie Niemand is the Student Support Services Coordinator at EBV, bringing over 12 years of experience supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development. She is passionate about helping students recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

Ms. Niemand holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Health Sciences and Social Services, specializing in Psychological Counseling, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and a Bachelor of Education Honours (BEd Hons) from leading universities in South Africa. She is also a Level 3 Safeguarding professional and leads EBV’s Safeguarding Team, helping to foster a safe, supportive, and caring environment where every student can thrive.

With a strong strength-based approach, Ms. Niemand is committed to ensuring that students feel heard, valued, and empowered. She develops systems to monitor student progress and ensure that appropriate support is in place to meet individual needs.

She is passionate about developing innovative programs and resources that promote student success and wellbeing. She also provides training and guidance to her team and educators in differentiation strategies and effective student support practices, strengthening EBV’s capacity to meet the diverse needs of its students.

As a caring advocate, skilled problem solver, and dynamic team leader, Ms. Niemand values collaboration, continuous growth, and lifelong learning. She looks forward to serving the EBV community as they continue to expand and enhance their Student Support Services Program, creating an environment where every student is supported, empowered, and given the opportunity to flourish.
