The Drama program at EBV is offered as an elective activity for high school and middle school students, the last period of the day on alternate days. It involves the participation of students in a learning experience that develops the whole person:

Emotionally
Physically
Intellectually
Imaginatively
Aesthetically
Socially

It emphasizes the development of the individual as a 
creator, performer, historian, critic, and patron.

The goals for each student include:

      • Use of the imagination.
      • Demonstration of and work on movement on the stage.
      • Development of an awareness and understanding of the steps involved in theater production.
      • Analysis of plays, scenes, and characters through acting as well as playwriting.
      • Development of the use of the voice.
      • Forming an appreciation of drama as an art.
      • Development of cooperative skills and self-confidence.
