  • HEALTH INSURANCE(TIE-CARE): This include hospitalization, surgery and maternity in Venezuela and internationally. If you decide to choose this plan, you will be billed 50% of the cost, and Escuela Bella Vista will pay the other 50%. This is only for expatriate teachers. Monthly cost for teachers is:

  • DENTAL PLAN (TIE CARE): This include preventative treatment, basic restorative, major restorative and orthodontic treatment. If you decide to choose this plan you will be billed 50% of the cost and Escuela Bella Vista will pay the other 50%. This is only for expatriate teachers. Refer to
    handbook for maximum amount of coverage in this plan. Monthly cost for the teachers is:

  • ACCIDENT INSURANCE: This insurance covers against accidental death and/or injury within and outside the school area. Escuela Bella Vista will pay 100% of the cost.
  • CENTRO INTEGRAL DE LA FAMILIA (C.I.F.): This includes ambulatory health care: medical visits and some laboratory tests. If you choose the Tie-Care coverage (above), you will have to pay monthly Bs 12.000 p/p for C.I.F. If you choose the local insurance company, Escuela Bella Vista will pay 100% of this plan. You can include other family members in any of these plans at additional cost.This health Institute could be change by the willing of the school.
  • SWIMMING POOL: Through Escuela Bella Vista, you can enroll in the Interclub at Hotel del Lago (Swimming pool). If you decide to do so, you will billed the 50% of the total cost of the plan you choosen, and Escuela Bella Vista will pay for the other 50%. There is a charge per guest. Monthly cost for teacher is:
    • Bs. 17.708.33/Single
    • Bs. 21.875.00/Family
    • Bs 11.458.33/Kids older than 4

  • GYM: Through Escuela Bella Vista, you can enroll in the Action Club at Hotel del Lago (Gym, Racquet ball etc..). If you decide to do so, you will billed the 50% of the total cost of the plan you choose, and Escuela Bella Vista will pay for the other 50%. There is a charge per guest. The present monthly cost for teachers is:
    • Bs. 40.000/Single
    • Bs. 65.000/Family
    • Bs 11.550/ Carnet p/p

    Note: You have to choose ONLY one plan either Inter Club or Action Club as the school will only provide one benefit. This health and care facilities could be change by the willing of the school.

  • AMBULANCE SERVICE: This healthcare service will provide first aids and transportation to the hospital in the case of an emergency. Escuela Bella Vista will pay 100% of the cost. You can include other family members in this plan at additional cost depending on the number of members, up to Bs 11.700 p/p (monthly). This health institute could be change by the willing of the school.

     

  • OTHER HEALTH BENEFITS: Escuela Bella Vista has credit at Hospital Coromoto and Hospital Clínico for the cost of routine test. If you decide to use it, Escuela Bella Vista will cover 50% of the cost and it will be deducted from your monthly salary. This health institute could be change by the willing of the school.

  • CHRISTMAS BONUS: 2 months of local salary after first year.
    Christmas Bonus complies with labor-legal concept of benefits established Venezuelan work.
  • VACATION BONUS: 7 days at the end of the first year
    Vacation Bonus complies with labor-legal concept of benefits established Venezuelan work.
  • SOCIAL SECURITY (VENEZUELAN): Escuela Bella Vista will cover 50% of the required amount. Non Salary Social Benefit according with third paragraph of the Article 133 of the Organic Labor Law.

  • SICK LEAVE: 10 days / year -cumulative up to 30 days. Ref. to Manual of Procedures #7.06
  • PERSONAL LEAVE: Up to 3 days / year; prior written approval by Supt. is required. Ref. to Manual of Procedures #7.01

  • FREE MAIL SERVICE: 2 letters/ week - non cumulative- sent to USA (Stamp not included)
